Nancy J. Wisner, 85, of Findlay, passed away on February 15, 2015 at St. Catherine’s Manor. She was born on February 5, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Charles U. and Edna M. (Hughes) Miller. She married John E. Wisner on September 3, 1950 and he survives.
Nancy was a graduate of Findlay High School and attended Bowling Green State University. She retired from Marathon Oil Company in 1986. She was a member of the Child Life C.C.L. Group, the Sycamore Springs Golferettes, and played in two ladies golf leagues in Cape Coral, Florida. She had been a long time member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Nancy is survived by her husband John; daughter, Sharon D. Hovarth of Mentor, OH; her son, David S. (Nancy) Wisner of Findlay; four grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and her sister, Susie Klosner of Bradenton, FL.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Catherine’s Manor and Southern Care for the loving care Nancy was given.
There will be a private service, with a celebration of Nancy’s life to be held at a later date, in which all friends will be invited.
