Sue M. Freeman Henderson, 80, of Findlay, passed away on September 7, 2015 at the Heritage. She was born May 2, 1935 to the late Doyt Ralston and Hazel (Ralston) Konst. She married Jesse J. Henderson and he preceded her in death on August 4, 2014.
Sue was a lifelong reader and a cook for most of her life. She was born in a gas station in Dunkirk, Ohio. Sue enjoyed camping with her family and was an avid Ohio State fan. Sue adored her family and grandkids, she lit up in the presence of children. She loved socializing and enjoyed lifelong friendships. She never met a stranger. Sue enjoyed cruises, gambling, traveling, and Christmas.
Sue is survived by children, Gordon (Robin) Freeman, June (Beth) Buttles-Freeman, Joy Freeman Binger, Grant (Mandy) Freeman, Doug (Kendell) Henderson, George “Pork” Freeman, Lisa (Ralston) Beltz; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; siblings, Lance Ralston and Nancy Cogley. She was preceded in death by children, Geoff Freeman, Jan Freeman Dietz, and Greg Freeman; brother, Kent A. Ralston; grandchildren, Breanna Pina, Kristi Freeman, Samuel and Triston Joffrion, Robert Hunter.
Friends and family may visit on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Vandenyde officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Findlay Public Library or the Kidney Foundation.
