Homer Tilden Maas, 76, of Findlay, passed away February 24, 2016 at Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born on August 6, 1939 in Gilbertsville, KY to the late Cecil H. and Ruth E. Maas. Homer married Bonnie L. Maas in 2007 and she survives.
Homer graduated from Dublin High School and attended Ohio State University. He proudly served his country in the US Army before being honorably discharged.
In addition to his wife, Homer is survived by his son, Jon T. Maas; daughter, Carol M. (Derek) Esp; 3 step-daughters, Annette (Michael) Shaffer, Cynthia Kellogg, Deborah (Alan) Shoop; grandchildren, Michael Jon Maas, Derek R. Esp Jr., and Shawna M. Esp; 2 step-grandchildren, Chaz and Alexis Shoop; 3 great-grandchildren, Landon and Ella Maas and Dorian Moreno-Esp; brother, Robert D. (Ruth) Maas.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in Milton Township Cemetery, Custar, OH. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Memorial contributions in Homer’s name may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
