Sharon A. Clymer

Sharon Ann Clymer, 71, of Findlay, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in her home on Saturday, February 3, 2018. She was born September 8, 1946 to John and Elgene (Nelson) Pore.

Sharon was a 1965 graduate of Cory-Rawson High School. She married Thomas Clymer on September 25, 1965 and they raised their three children near Benton Ridge. The family enjoyed trips to Ohio’s Amish Country and the Great Smoky Mountains where they also celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Sharon will always be remembered for her selfless and unconditional affection for her family. She was a devout Christian. She also loved gardening around her home.

Sharon was a fighter. She survived a stroke in 2007 and fought cancer for three years.

Sharon is survived by her husband Thomas; children, Deborah (Neil) Brown, Thomas Clymer Jr., and Jason (Sarah) Clymer; grandchildren, Tyler Brown, Jacob Brown, Joshua Clymer, Katelyn Clymer, and Amanda Clymer; mother, Elgene Neiswander; siblings, Jerry (Vickie) Pore, and Bradley Pore. She is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, John Pore; and sister, Roberta (John) Peterson.

Friends and family may visit on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 3 – 6 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A private family graveside service will be held in Benton Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Lynn Thompson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840 or Cancer Patient Services, 1800 North Blanchard St., Suite 120, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
