Michael J. Sawmiller, 66, of Bluffton, Ohio, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Lima, Ohio to the late Cyril and Wilmena (Kent) Sawmiller on September 28, 1951. On September 30, 1989 Michael married Cheryle Anderson and she survives him in Bluffton.
Michael enjoyed motorcycle riding, hunting, and fishing. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his wife Cheryle, sons, James and Michael W. Sawmiller; stepson, Justin Frese; daughters, Christian Anderson and Tiffini Mitchell; twenty-one grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service for Michael will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Tri-County Family Assembly of God, 835 N. Main St., Bluffton, Ohio 45817. Pastor Terry Hunt to officiate.
