Fred L. “Pops” Pugh, 71, of Findlay, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Taylor Place Assisted Living. He was born on April 2, 1947 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Joseph W. and Garnet F. Pugh.
Fred proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during Vietnam from 1966 – 1968 before being honorably discharged. He also attended the Church of the Living God Ministry.
Beloved father, grandfather, and brother, Fred is survived by his children, Leo Pugh of Findlay, Juliette (Matthew) Reising of Fostoria; two wonderful grandchildren, Landon Woods and Seth Reising. He is also survived by his sister, Janice (Frank) Jumper of Findlay; and several nieces and nephews. Fred was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Denny Pugh; and sister, Joretta Pugh-Hilvers.
Friends and family may visit on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Church of the Living God, 701 N. Main St., Findlay, Ohio 45840. A memorial service for Fred will be celebrated on Saturday, June 23rd at 2 p.m. following visitation at the church. The Pastor Juan Salinas will officiate. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery with the Hancock County Veteran’s Memorial Squad performing full military rites.
