Raymond C. Walker, 82, of Findlay, passed away in the arms of his wife on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his five kids. He was born September 14, 1935 in Springfield, Ohio to the late William H. and Margretta T. (Lathey) Walker. Raymond was united in marriage on June 18, 1955 to Mary Ann Husek, a marriage that would last 63 wonderful years.
Ray was a teamster and retired after 41 years of driving. He was a member of the Moose, the NRA, and Teamsters Locals 20 and 299. He enjoyed carving, guns, his RV and visiting his kids in 5 states. Loved his winters in Florida.
In addition to his wife Mary Ann, Ray is survived by his children, Raymond (Craig) Walker Jr. and wife Jean of Ft. Myers, FL, Monty A. Walker of Rawson, OH, Tracy A. Walker and wife Kimberly of Berwick, PA, Shari R. Doyle of Rockford, IL, and Kimary A. Bourret of Montpelier, VA; 15 grandchildren (8 boys & 7 girls). He is also survived by his brother, William H. Walker Jr. and wife Barbara; and sister, Sally Jo (Roger) Stokes, both of Findlay; brother-in-law, Gary Beach. Ray was preceded in death by his sisters, Phyllis Hines and Susan Beach.
Friends and family may visit on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A memorial service for Raymond will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 21st at the conclusion of the visitation. Fr. Kyle Gase will officiate.
