Dale D. Wiseman

Dale D. Wiseman, 81, of Findlay, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green. He was born on February 6, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Elmer and Alice (Napper) Wiseman. Dale was a veteran in the U.S. Navy and worked for DOW Chemical for many years. He was a member of the AMVETS and Planet Fitness.

Dale is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Margaret (Weiker); grandson, Shawn (Lindsay) Camp; great-grandchildren, Riley and Brody Camp; sister, Violet (Leon) Newmun; step-sons, Tim Butcher and Tom (Kim) Butcher; step-daughter, Tammy (Jim) Hallman; step-grandchildren, Melanie Meddles, Brent (Melissa) Hoerig, Bryan (Hilary) Butcher, Mathew (Jordan) Butcher, Ryan (Melissa) Hoerig, and Zachary Butcher; and step-great-grandchildren, Logan Meddles, Landon Meddles,Van Hoerig; and several nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Sue Camp; brothers, Harold, Lawrence, Jim, Watson and Roy Wiseman; sisters, Ruby Wiseman, Beulah Palmer and Brita May Wiseman. He was also preceded in death by a step-daughter-in-law, Missy Butcher.

Friends and family may visit on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service for Dale will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 2, with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. The Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad will follow with full military rites following the service. Memorial contributions in Dale’s name may be made to Cancer Patient Services.
