Clarabelle Williams, 84, of Findlay, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Friday, March 8, 2019 at Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was born on August 24, 1934 in North Baltimore, Ohio to the late Alton E. and Jessie B. (Ferguson) Harmon. On June 3, 1950, Clarabelle married Richard B. Wickard and he preceded her in death on May 14, 1987. She then married Herman F. Williams on February 4, 1989 and he preceded her in death on July 15, 1992.
Clarabelle was a retired office assistant and became a homemaker, raising her family. At the age of 62, she proudly earned her G.E.D. She was also a member of Stonebridge Church of God in Findlay.
Clarabelle is survived by daughter, Beckie Schmidt; 9 grandchildren, Matt Shirley, Trish Meadon, Missy Grandinetti, Kenny Luna, Stacey Morris, Chris Stilberger, Tracey Davis, Sandra Davis, Billy Joe Rutter, and families; 21 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many cousins and friends. Clarabelle was preceded in death by sons, Eddie Wickard and Richard E. Wickard; daughter, Jennifer Anderson; 8 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 5 – 7 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. after visitation at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Memorial contributions in Clarabelle’s name may be made to the Family in c/o Hufford Family Funeral Home.
