Sylvia Mae (Sowards) Lowe, 53, of Findlay, passed away February 2, 2016 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was born September 21, 1962 to Lafayette Sowards and Mable Katherine (Gee) Kreh. Sylvia married Ralph Lowe on September 30, 1982 and they shared 33 wonderful years together.
Sylvia enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved the outdoors. The family would like to send a special thank you to Tom and Kay Lambert.
Sylvia is survived by her husband; step-mother, Judy Sowards; 3 wonderful sons, Joshua James, Steven Allen, and Anthony Wayne (Samantha) Lowe, all of Findlay. She is also survived by the loves of her life, 6 grandsons, Dallas Anthony, Skylarr James, Hunter Wayne, Haidyn Matthew, Kyle Allen, and Bryson Allen Lowe; a very special friend/niece, Julie Cornette; brothers, Thomas (Shawn) Sowards and Gerald Sowards of Arizona; sisters, Jenny (Brian) McGrill, Renee Sowards, Ashley Sowards; and many family and friends. Sylvia is preceded in death by brother, Walter Sowards; mother, Mable Katherine (Gee) Kreh.
Friends and family may visit on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A memorial service will be held after visitation at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Wade Tannehill officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Sylvia’s name may be made to the family in c/o Hufford Family Funeral Home.
