Paul G. Bolander

Paul G. Bolander, 75, of Mount Blanchard, OH, peacefully passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. He was born May 16, 1943 in Findlay, OH to the late Glenn B. and Clarissa E. (Pownell) Bolander. On April 20, 1963, Paul was united in marriage to Janet K. Warren and shared 56 years together.

Paul was a graduate of Mount Blanchard High School. He worked at Garwood Industries, Hancock Concrete Ready Mix and retired from Ball Metal.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Janet of Mount Blanchard; son, Richard A. Bolander of Mount Blanchard; daughter, Kelly Jo Buckingham of Findlay; and his only granddaughter, Clarissa Michelle (Elijah O’Rion) Perez of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by a brother, Joe Bolander of Winter Haven, FL. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Elmer Bolander; sister, Clara Jane Youngs; and son-in-law, Mark K. Buckingham of Findlay.

Friends and family may visit on Monday, April 29, 2019 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30th at the funeral home with Pastor Walt Sheppard officiating. Interment will follow in Houcktown Cemetery, Jackson Township. Mary L. Stahl

Mary L. Stahl, 87, of Findlay, OH, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Fox Run Manor. She was born March 22, 1932 to Louise and Melvin Daniels, who preceded her in death. She married Wilbur Stahl in 1953 and he preceded her in death December 2015.

Mary graduated from Findlay High School in 1950. She was a homemaker and with her husband, Wilbur, owned and operated Wilbur’s Plumbing and Heating starting in 1971 until their retirement in 1995.

Mary is survived by her sons, Michael (Eileen) and Jim (Cheryl); daughters, Janet Wibright and Lisa (Trent) Harrison; six grandchildren, Hannah Stahl, Sarah Wibright, Paul Wibright, Gretchen Winkeljohn, Emily Stahl and Elizabeth Stahl; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Betty Hitchings of Port Clinton, Ohio. Mary’s brother, Grant, preceded her in death.

At Mary’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will be held in Van Horn Cemetery. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s choice.

LaDonna Burnett

LaDonna Burnett, 72, of Waterville, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by love and prayer on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the Heritage Village Nursing Home in Waterville. She was born on December 4, 1946 in McComb, Ohio to the late Glenndon and Ruth (Parker) Inbody.

LaDonna served as a realtor in the Hancock County area for many years, passionately helping people purchase and sell their homes. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, rarely missing an event.

LaDonna is survived by her daughter, Cindi (Kyle) Starkey of Findlay, OH; son, Jason (Mary) Burnett of Jenera, OH; grandchildren, Kalyn and Joel Starkey, Cory Burnett, Jordan (Josh) Ebersole, Mitchell, Riley, and Samuel Burnett. She is also survived by her brother, Lauren (Linda) Inbody of Leipsic, OH; sister-in-law, Ruthie Inbody of Jenera; and many nieces and nephews. LaDonna leaves behind her special friend, Carl Solarik, who loved and cared for her throughout her illness. LaDonna was preceded in death by a son who was stillborn, Jonathin; and a brother, Larry Inbody.

The family would like to extend a very special Thank-You to the staff at Heritage Village Nursing Home in Waterville, OH and Hospice of NW Ohio for the devotion and care given to Ladonna.

Florian “Pete” Tiell

Florian “Pete” N. Tiell, 87, of New Riegel, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria, Ohio. He was born June 14, 1931 in Seneca County to the late Sylvester and Lucy (Wagner) Tiell. On September 10, 1955, Pete was united in marriage to his surviving wife, Joyce T. Schreiner.

Pete attended All Saints Parish in New Reigel. He was a life member of the American Legion, member of National Machinery Quarter Century Club, a volunteer Red Cross driver, and served as a Sacristan for the Parish Cemetery Chapel. Pete attended the Daytona 500 with family and friends for many years, as well as many super modified races in the area. Pete retired from National Machinery as a machinist after 41 years of service. He served his country from 1951 – 1953 in the US Army based in England during the Korean Conflict. Pete loved his Polkas and having a glass of wine or beer with family and friends. He always said, “There’s no bad beer, just some taste better than others!”

Pete is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joyce; son, Jeffery J. (Norma) Tiell of New Riegel; daughters, Cynthia A. Carter of Fremont and Sandra A. (Daniel) Glovier of Maumee; grandchildren, Casey Brubaker, Jessica Tiell, Shae Carter, Kristi Grogan, Jade Carter, Holly Brickner, Tiella Carter, Leanne Tiell, Cassie Glovier, Monica Glovier, Nick Glovier; and 4 great-grandchildren, Khaidence, Sevella, Amari and Amelia. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Sylvester Jr., Mark, and Walter Tiell; and sisters, Ethel Gase and Catherine Roth.

Friends and family may visit on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Parish, 41 N. Perry Street, New Riegel, Ohio, 44853. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in the parish. Inurnment will follow in the parish cemetery. Carl Benjamin Rice, 76, of Leipsic, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born October 29, 1942 in Mount Blanchard, Ohio to the late Allen O. and Grace M. (Roberts) Rice. On December 30, 1976, Carl married Lois Kay (Weidner) who survives him in Leipsic.

Carl loved spending time with his family and will be missed by his much-loved dogs, Ace and Ricky. He enjoyed horseback riding, racing, and retired after 40 years of driving truck.

Carl is survived by his loving wife, Kay, of 42 years; sons, Larry (Carla) Rice, Jim (Kelly) Dunham, Darren (Tammy) Rice, Carl “Mac” (Ashley) Rice, Jay (Donna) Dunham, and Matt Dunham; daughters, Lori Rice and Carla Kear; 13 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Jay Rice, Anna Kay Ward, Gary Rice, Doug Rice, Eddie McDonald, and Danny McDonald. Carl was preceded in death by 8 siblings, Randy Rice, Betty Jo Rice, Larry Rice, Addie Mae Mueller, Theodore Rice, Barbara Enyart, Benjamin Rice and David Rice Sr.

Keith D. Hoops

Keith Douglas Hoops, age 27, of McComb, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019. He was born on December 19, 1991 in Findlay, Ohio to Rena Company (Hickerson) and Ryan Hoops.

Keith was a 2010 graduate of McComb High School. He was employed by ADS Corporation and found his calling working at Tater Built Turbos. Keith valued his time spent with family and friends on his days off. He also enjoyed the days that he spent with his furry companion, Izzy and loved the Dobermans that he grew up with, Precious and Cheyenne. Keith loved anything that had to do with the outdoors and anything with a motor in it that would smoke the tires, along with the smell of diesel fuel. The only gas engine he loved was in his dad’s Camaro. Anyone that knew him, loved his goofy smile and his crazy dance moves. He loved to dance and sing. Keith was a free spirited person with a lot of love to give. “Full send”

Keith is survived by his parents along with brother, Britain (Amber) Leone of Findlay; sister, Shelby (Jacob) Williams of Jacksonville; stepfather, Chet Company of Tiffin; stepsister, Trinity Company; stepbrother, Colton Company; nieces, Dezrae Leone, Kayelyn Leone, Peytynn Williams; and nephew, Domnick Leone. He is also survived by his maternal grandma, Nona Booze of Findlay; paternal grandma, Connie Hoops of Leipsic; maternal aunts, Rhonda (Marc) Johnson of Findlay, Danielle (Ty) Treft of Brunswick, Melissa (Vince) Ludwig of Findlay; maternal uncle, Christopher Cameron of Findlay; paternal aunt, Linda Hoops of Leipsic; paternal uncle, Danny (Rondel) Hoops of Sycamore; his canine companion, Izzy; along with a host of loving cousins and many close friends that were considered family. Keith was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lester Hoops, Paul Cameron; and his twin babies, Noah Ryan and Cheyenne Renae.

Charles Markle, 95, of Findlay, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green. He was born on January 29, 1924 in New Bethlehem, PA to the late Leo and Ruth (Neese) Markle. His wife Virginia (Malloy) Markle survives along with his daughter, Judy Markle and son, Charles (Nancy) Markle Jr. Charles was a WWII Navy Veteran. All services will be private services. Tiffiany D. Harrison

Tiffiany Danielle Harrison, age 25, of Findlay, was welcomed home into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. She was born on March 7, 1994 in Findlay to the late Elaine M. (Gillen) Harrison. Tiffiany is survived by her sister, Kristy (Harrison) Emmons of Findlay; nephew, Joshua Emmons; nieces, Lawena Emmons, Krystal Lear, Amelia Sutter; and her cousin, Amanda Gillen of Findlay. She is also survived by her guardians, Brian and Martie Andrews and family.

Tiffiany enjoyed spending time and being spoiled by her guardians, Martie and Brian Andrews. She became like a big sis to Lydia, Adalyn, and Preston Andrews. Some of her special memories with them were playing lots of games, visiting the Children’s Museum, going out to eat, and many other fun adventures.

Tiffiany was a beautiful young woman inside and out. She always had a joke ready to share to bring a smile to your face. She spent her time coloring, playing games on her tablet, watching her favorite movies and TV shows, and listening to Michael Jackson. Her love of Disney movies and music made her a rival to anyone who would challenge her at “Guess that Disney song.” In addition to being a social butterfly, Tiffiany loved to sing and play guitar for an audience! She also loved animals and had quite a collection of stuffed animals. Tiffiany believed “There is a Princess inside all of us” and she was no doubt one of the most special princesses of all. At Fox Run Manor, Tiffiany had a beautifully decorated princess room.
Tiffiany attended Findlay High School and graduated from Penta Career Center.

Mikhael W. Weyer

Tragically taken from us at the age of 28, Mikhael William Weyer, of Findlay, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 when out of the kindness of his heart, he stopped to help a driver who ran out of gas. He was born on July 29, 1990 in Findlay to Linda (Colvin) Weyer and the late Milton H. Weyer III.

Mikhael was loving, always there to help a family member, friend, animal or stranger. He was a one of a kind son, amazing, humorous, generous, supportive, inspiring brother and the BEST uncle ever! He could go from the life of the party to fire engine mad in an instant. Never afraid to speak his mind, even if he knew someone would not like it. He had a fierce fire in his soul of right and wrong. Mikhael was very proud to achieve his goal of recently becoming a first time home owner. He always wanted to do his part in changing the world for the better. Mikhael worked as a Journeyman for Vaughn’s Industry for eight years. He also loved his precious dog and best friend, Dixie.

Mikhael is survived by his mother, Linda of Findlay; dad, Kenneth (Lucinda) Bash; brothers, Andrew (Shawn) Weyer, Alex Weyer, Robert Bash, Wesley Bash and Jessie Gorelski; sisters, Lindsey (Zach) Morral and Katie Bash; nieces, Sophia Weyer, Lily Bash and Aurora Bash. His is also survived by his uncles, Matthew (Kristine) Colvin, David Colvin, Scott (Jessica) Bash, Roger Essinger and Marc Price; aunt, Tammy (Roy) Jeknavorian; grandparents, Harry and Sharon Colvin, Roger and Hazel Bash and Barbara Nelson; and many cousins, friends, and his beloved dog Dixie. Mikhael was preceded in death by his father Milton H. Weyer III; grandfather, Milton H. Weyer Jr.; and uncle, Randy Essinger.

Marion “Butch” Decker

Marion E. “Butch” Decker, 74, of Findlay, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at St. Catherine’s Manor of Findlay. He was born August 5, 1944 in Bluffton, Ohio to the late Don Bradford and Margaret L. Decker. Marion proudly served his country in 1966 serving in Vietnam in the U.S. Air Force. He retired after 30 plus years as a truck driver from Garner Transportation. Butch enjoyed NASCAR and going fishing.

Butch is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Mary (Letso) Decker; son, John (Crystal) Decker of Trenton, TN; grandchildren, Destinee Decker of Trenton, TN and Micheala (Aaron) Burnett of Lexington, TN; and two great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Olivia Burnett, both of Lexington, TN. His brother-in-law, William Letso of Findlay, also survives him. Butch was preceded in death by his step-father, Frank Koch; and aunts, Helen Foltz and Gladys Shively.

Clifford “Hoot” T. Gibson

Clifford “Hoot” Thomas Gibson, 88, of Arcadia, OH, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Bridge Hospice Care Center of Findlay surrounded by his loving family. Cliff was born in Louisa, KY on July 1, 1930 to the late Sheridan and Rebecca (York) Gibson. He married Nellie Beaschler and she preceded him in death. On December 29, 1980, he was united in marriage to Helen Faust. She survives at their home in Arcadia, OH.

Cliff retired from Atlas Crankshaft after 26 years of service. As a hobby, he built 3 wheel trikes and loved camping. His greatest joy was going fishing with his grandson Nick Hudson. Cliff was also a member of Summit Street Church of God.

Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Helen; sons, Larry (Joyce) Gibson and Steve Gibson, both of Findlay; daughters, Kay Gibson of Michigan, and Vicki (Scott) Brubaker of Helena; step-daughters, Barbara Brooks of Arcadia, and Shelly Faust of Findlay; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Cleo Turnbell of Carey, Albert Gibson of Findlay, and Debbie Gibson of Tiffin. Cliff was preceded in death by a son, Danny Gibson; step-son, David Faust; brothers, Theron, James; and sisters, Pansy and Becky.

Michael K. McKee

Michael Kaye McKee, of Findlay, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2019 in his home with his family by his side. He was born August 24, 1935 in Findlay, Ohio to the late William R. and Erma (Shaffer) McKee. On January 4, 1958, Michael married Marlene Dulle, she survives him along with their sons, Brian (Jo Michelle) McKee and Christopher (Shannon) McKee, both of Findlay; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Billy McKee of Greenville, Michigan. Michael was preceded in death by a son, Michael D.; sisters, Ramona Foltz, Donita McGaugh and Jonadelle Sue Simon; and brother, Arthur McKee.

Charlene Louise Baum, 83, of Vanlue, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Bridge Hospice Care Center. Before passing, she expressed with excitement in her own words, “I get to go to heaven!” She was born in Findlay, Ohio on November 24, 1935 to the late Charley S. and Anita D. (Kiser) Pratt. Charlene and Robert Charles Baum were united in marriage on April 5, 1956 and to this union, they were blessed with five children.

Charlene was a graduate of Vanlue High School. She retired from Hancock County Law Library. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She attended Findlay E-Free Church.

In addition to her loving husband Robert, of 63 years, Charlene is survived by sons, Dennis (Deb) Baum of Mansfield, OH, Kevin (Ann) Baum of West Chester, OH, Greg Baum of Findlay, OH; daughters, Anita (Jim) Musgrave of Mt. Blanchard, OH, Lisa Baum of Findlay, OH; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and five step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Norman Pratt of Dunkirk, OH. Charlene was preceded in death by brother, Raymond Pratt; and granddaughter, Merideth Baum.

A private graveside service will be held in Van Horn Cemetery. Service will be conducted by her sons Dennis and Kevin. Mary Loree Pahl, 83, of Findlay, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Birchaven Heights. She was born on January 2, 1936 in Custar, Ohio to the late Walter and Ernestine (Dowden) Wilhelm. On October 23, 1954, Mary was united in marriage to her true love, Robert Pahl.

Mary loved spending time with her family and along with her husband Bob, they were foster parents for many years. She enjoyed sewing and making quilts. Mary was a Hoytville High School graduate and retired as an office worker/secretary.

Mary will be remembered by her loving husband of 64 years, Robert; sons, Kevin (Emmie) Pahl of Loveland, OH, Dennis (Shelley) Pahl of Findlay; daughters, Jane Pahl and Deanna (Darrin) Osborne, both of Bluffton, OH; six grandchildren, Shamus (Emily) Pahl, Tara (Clayton) Moore, Dustin (Lisa) Pahl, Sara Oler, Shane and Corey Osborne, Samantha (Nick) Darrell, Alexandra Taylor; four great-grandchildren, James, Luke, Hunter and Landen. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, William (Linda) Wilhelm of Deshler, OH.

Dolores is survived by her children, Carol Rodenberger, Bill (Penny) Robinson and David (Rebecca) Robinson. She is also survived by her two sisters, Donna Wright and Patty (Rob); and brother, Morris (Betty) Seem.

Terry Allen Heater, 81, of Findlay, Ohio, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at The Heritage. He was born in South Bend, Indiana to the late Harris E. and Edith I. (Archambeault) Heater on December 10, 1937. On July 26, 1958, Terry married his true love, Judy Moore and were blessed with three children.

Terry graduated from Adams High School, South Bend, IN and attended Ball State University graduating in 1959. He received his bachelor’s degree in teaching. He also lettered four straight years playing football for The Cardinals. After graduating, he relocated to Tipp City, OH where he taught for 10 years. He coached varsity football, baseball, track, and wrestling. One of his proudest accomplishments was starting the wrestling program at Tipp City. The wrestling program became quite successful during his tenure.

In 1969, Terry relocated to Findlay, OH for a teaching position in the vocational department. He continued coaching at Findlay High School with the football and wrestling program. After many years of coaching, he continued officiating wrestling.

Terry retired after 35 years of teaching. He enjoyed his many years of coaching and teaching. He received The Golden Apple Award in 1991 and in 1994, was The Outstanding Educator for Chamber of Commerce. He also received the Findlay City School Bruce Hill Award between 1993-1994 and OWE Northwest Region Teacher of the Year between 1983-1984. Terry was a member of the Knight of Columbus and attended St. Michael Catholic Church. He loved traveling, fishing, working with his hands and helping others when possible.

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Judy; sons, Bruce S. (Mindee) Heater of Findlay, and Joe A. (Kim) Heater of Bellefontaine, OH; daughter, Julie A. (Mike) Barrett of McComb; grandchildren, Heather (Carl) Muniz, Matthew (Brittany) Heater, Aaron, Ashleigh, Mariah, Mackenzie (Darren) Daulton, Jack, isabelle, Kiersten, Brandon, Brody; great-grandchildren, Emma, Carl Jr., Addie, Gavin, Asher, and Colton. He is also survived by a brother, Gary Lee Heater of South Bend, IN.

Friends and family may visit from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 13 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Fr. Mike Zacharias officiating. Inurnment will be held in St. Michael Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions in Terry’s name may be made to the Findlay High School Athletic Department (Wrestling/Football) or Bridge Home Heal and Hospice

Druzilla “Dru” M. Norris

Druzilla “Dru” Mary Norris, 89, of Findlay, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at The Heritage. She was born on November 5, 1929 in Highland Park, Michigan to the late Oliver P. and Mattie S. (Vonseggern) Staats. Druzilla married twice during her lifetime, first to James Fogle and later she married Howard “Dean” Norris who preceded her in death.

Druzilla loved spending time with her family. She also loved to sew and quilt. She owned the Look in Glass quilt shop in Findlay. Druzilla has made many beautiful quilts and other items throughout her life. She worked at K-Mart, Whirlpool, and RCA before her retirement. Druzilla enjoyed reminiscing about old times.

Druzilla will be remembered by her son, Gail (Jane) Fogle; daughters, Vicki Johnson, and Roberta Siferd; 7 grandchildren, Laura (Steve) Allen, Dave (Melissa) Johnson, Stacy (Doug) Oates, Larry (Heather) Siferd, Mary Anne (Jason) Burnett, Jeff (Jennifer) Fogle, Greg Fogle; 18 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean; her ex-husband, James Fogle; stillborn son; and two brothers, Jess and Bruce Staats.

Friends and family may visit from 12 – 2 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A private graveside service will be held in McComb Union Cemetery with Pastor Dan Metzger officiating. Terrence Hindall, 67, of McComb, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 8, 2019. He was born on March 10, 1952 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Milton E. and Juanita (Andrews) Hindall. Terry is survived by his long love companion, Debra Dingledine of McComb. He is also survived by his son, Chad Dingledine of London, OH; daughters, Dawn Nunez of Continental, OH, Sara Hindal of McComb; 10 grandchildren, Jenna Haugh, Marissa Dingledine, Madison Heller, Mariah Heller, Gabe, Cole, Oliver Dingledine, Carter, Riley, Journey Scheff; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews he loved so much. Terry is also survived by his brothers, Dave Hindall of Findlay, Bill Hindall of Florida; sisters, Teresa Baney of Florida, Nita Fike of Alabama, and Deb Monday of Florida. He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Haugh; and a niece, Harmonie Hindall.

Mary Kay Johnson, 59, of Mount Juliet, TN, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay, OH. She was born on December 15, 1959 in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Catherine (Perino) Jordan.

Mary is survived by her husband, Timothy Johnson; son, Eric Johnson of Cincinnati, OH; daughter, Lindsay Johnson of Findlay; parents, Joseph and Catherine; brothers, Joseph, Tony, Paul, Michael, John and Mark; and sisters, Christine and Cathy. Sheila L. Kiser, 56, of Findlay, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center. Sheila was born on August 24, 1962 in Elyria, Ohio to Eugene and Virginia (Townsend) Kiser.

Sheila is survived by her son, Daniel (Katie) Ferren, of Findlay; a grandchild, Cora Rose; mother Virginia; brother, Michael Kiser; and a sister, Theresa (Marion) Berry, both of Findlay. Sheila was preceded in death by her father.

A celebration of Sheila’s life will be held on July 13, 2019 at 10 a.m. in the Cross Community Church, 525 N. Abbe Rd. in Elyria, Ohio.
